Well, woo-frickin’-HOOO!!!! My numbers have begun to climb again! YAY! The initial jump wasn’t spectacular but hey, I’ll take whatever I can get at this point. My white blood cells jumped from 0.1 to 0.6 and my platelets are at 14, up slightly from 13 yesterday. I’m not sure how the white blood cells will react now, since I’ve been getting Granix injections for the past five days, but I sort of think that they’ll start slow and then begin to climb faster. That’s my hope anyway. Maybe I can go home for a bit of break after all!

It’s been a quiet day. I wish I could get outside – it looks so nice out there and it would be great to walk in my neighborhood again, even if for just a little while. Dr. Santiago predicted yesterday that he thinks I might be able to go home over the weekend, which would be wonderful. If I can get a week at home that’s more than I was hoping for. 😊🙏🏻
